When infertility occurs, both male and female partners are evaluated to determine the cause and best treatment options.

Following the test results, we will recommend fertility supplements or even further tests depending on your condition.

FERTILITY SCREENING FAQ
What does fertility testing involve?
Fertility testing can vary depending on whether it’s for a male or female. For women, it often includes blood tests to check hormone levels, ultrasound to examine the uterus and ovaries, and sometimes more specialized procedures like hysterosalpingography to evaluate the fallopian tubes. For men, the most common test is a semen analysis, which assesses sperm count, movement, and shape.
How long does the fertility testing process take?
The duration of the testing process can vary. Initial tests like semen analysis or basic hormone testing can be completed relatively quickly, often within a few days to a week. More complex testing, like evaluating ovulation over a cycle or conducting specialized imaging, might take a month or longer.
Will my insurance cover fertility testing and treatment?
Coverage for fertility testing and treatment varies widely depending on your insurance plan. Some insurance plans cover diagnostic testing but not treatment, while others may offer more comprehensive coverage. It’s important to check with your insurance provider for specific details regarding your coverage.
