Sexually transmitted disease (STD) is a major public health problem around the world, especially among women. Many STDs have no symptoms. Our aim is to do appropriate assessment and testing, which is the only way to detect STIs.
We focus on patient-centered counselling, education, and treatment of patients and contacts in a timely manner, thus preventing and/or limiting further spread.
Many people keep up with regular STI testing and treatment as part of a proactive sexual health plan.
There is a rising STI rate in Malaysia and throughout the world, with higher rates among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men.
The presence of an STI can increase the risk of co-infection: for example, an ulcer from an infection such as syphilis can significantly increase the risk of acquiring and transmitting an HIV infection.
At SpringHill Clinic Malaysia, we offer private HIV tests in a comfortable and safe environment where you can start an open discussion with our doctors about your sexual health concerns. We look after the sexual and reproductive health of our patients with the utmost care, diligence, and privacy. Our doctors understand that STD/STI tests and treatment are very private matters; therefore, we guarantee discretion and absolute privacy as cornerstones of our service. We will assist you in choosing the appropriate sexual health screening for your situation. Our doctors will also recommend different types of contraceptions if needed.
